Reception ran entirely on paper across four OPD desks — General, Specialist, Laboratory and Emergency — each collecting a different fee and issuing a government-formatted slip. Nothing reconciled at the end of the day. And reception cannot stop serving patients because the network is down.
Built a dual Electron architecture — a server app and desk clients over the hospital LAN — so the internet is not a dependency.
Modelled registration per OPD category, with fees configurable rather than compiled in.
Generated and printed slips to the government format the hospital is required to issue.
Added an accountant day-end close with cash reconciliation across all four desks.
Gave each desk role-scoped access, with revenue and patient-flow analytics for the administration.
